MICHTER’S SPRINGFIELD FARM
A testament to Michter’s commitment to sustainably sourcing the very best grain possible, Michter’s own a 205-acre farm in the historic town of Springfield, Kentucky. After acquiring the land in 2017, Michter’s began working with local farmers to farm its own estate grown, non-GMO corn, rye and barley on the property. These grains will be used at Michter’s Shively Fort Nelson Distilleries.
MICHTER’S SHIVELY DISTILLERY
Michter’s Shively Distillery is a 12.8 acres, 87,000 square foot facility, currently home to all of Michter’s processing and bottling operations, as well as two of its small pot stills.
MICHTER’S FORT NELSON DISTILLERY
Located at 801 West Main Street in the heart of downtown Louisville, Michter’s Fort Nelson Distillery, this distillery is home to a legendary historic distillation system, with tours available to discover Michter’s whiskey production process – from barreling at a lower entry proof, to toasting their barrels before charring and heat cycling their warehouses.
